Israel ja Gazaan pyrkineet aktivistit aloittivat sanasodan, jossa totuutta on vaikea selvittää Palestiinaa tukevat aktivistit ovat pyrkineet murtamaan Gazan merisaartoa vuodesta 2010 lähtien. Israelin toimet tai lausunnot molemmin puolin eivät siksi yllättäneet.

Onpa harvinaisen typerä juttu. Lääkkeiden, asianmukaisen ravinnon ja lakiavun saaminen pidätettynä on paljon vaikeampaa kuin huutamisen, haukkujen, jne. myös Suomessa ja muualla Euroopassa. Toimittajan on oltava poikkeuksellisen kuistilla epäilläkseen aktivistien lausuntoja.

Minusta kuulostaa usein siltä, että kun penätään vasemmistolaista turvallisuuden, sodan tai militarismin analyysiä (ikään kuin tästä ei olisi vuosisataista perinnettä), niin oikeastaan penätään tapoja oikeuttaa hegemoniset sodan, turvallisuuden ja militarismin käytännöt vasemmistolaisittain.
