i have a recurring nightmare where i accidentally do this and im connected to the work wifi

which is a little crazy bc i work from home

i also got her this thing thats basically like a giant 90s mouse track ball that sits in broth and shes supposed to lick it but she insists on biting it instead so we take breaks on that one periodically in hopes she forgets the wrong way to do it

in the rotation currently is: homemade frozen licky treat w vitamins, enzymatic dental chew, collagen "rawhide" bone, and a softer scrubby yak chew

its never ending but unfortunately i love her very much

i used to be able to entertain her infinitely w a yak cheese chew but those are too hard for her now in her old age. she demands no less than 4 distinct Activities per day, between meals 🙄

ezra doesn't play with toys, she only likes food based activities and so when shes bored she goes and stands in the kitchen and just silently stares at me like this

ok i gotta go thru my clothes this weekend and officially get new stuff bc i have ONE pair of actual pants that fits now. the rest are too big to even be able to get away with like a loose slouchy look

i think if you ride public transit enough you learn that most weird behavior is not dangerous, and conversely i think driving a car teaches you that everyone is trying to kill you at all times

i waited a few days for her exoskeleton to harden back up and then also watched her the whole time she was hunting it just in case. im so proud tho :')

the flies i bought online came today but they won't pupate for a while and blunt smoken is pretty hungry post-molt so i took a chance and gave her the last cricket that i thought was too big for her and she got it! everyone clap
