AI can be many things at once.
It can detect cancers in an MRI with a greater success rate than most humans. It can provide a differential diagnosis more accurate than most doctors.
It will unquestionably save many many lives.

A blueskier wishing tragedy on someone over a mild disagreement. Now Iβve seen everything.
23.02.2026 22:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0lol wouldn't shock me
23.02.2026 22:32 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yes that is bad. There should be systems in place to prevent bugs like that from going into production.
But lets not pretend that kindof thing never happens with human coders.
Remember Therac-25?
Yeah that's more the equivalent of deleting someone's gmail inbox vs deleting the code that gmail runs on.
23.02.2026 22:29 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There's no risk of some super important thing getting 'deleted'. That's not how this works. Anything important has multiple offsite backups.
The risk is some buggy code getting deployed and messing things up for a bit.
No the AWS codebase was not, in fact, deleted. That would make no sense.
These things have backups upon backups, distributed across multiple locations.
Yeah and that really sucks.
But is this site really an alternative for people with centrist or rightwing opinions?
Yes I agree with you that most people probably wouldn't put these issues in their top 5.
However that doesn't mean we shouldn't find out how the public feels about them.
I don't think your poll questions do that at all. They just kindof paper over the whole thing.
Yes absolutely. Plenty of voters would support a candidate purely based on their stance on abortion rights, for example.
19.02.2026 20:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm surprised anyone would disagree with that first question, however it's really not telling us much.
The poll you're criticizing asked very specific policy questions.
It would be cool if that was the real public opinion, but your "competent framing" is probably the most leading biased poll question I've ever seen asked.
19.02.2026 19:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0How has Meta made money off AI?
19.02.2026 04:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0For real. They should be in favor of more regulations, since they're so far behind anyway.
19.02.2026 04:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It doesn't matter what you believe. Neither the DNC, Kamala, Walz, nor Biden, nor the majority of their voters support getting rid of Israel. It's simply not compatible with their platform.
16.02.2026 20:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0What exactly do you want them to do? He believes Israel shouldn't exist. That's not a position that's compatible with what they believe.
It would be like a pro-life person entering the DNC. Should they try to satisfy that person's concerns too?
It seems they allowed him to stream from the 2024 DNC, and all he did was criticize them about Israel.
Here's his commentary during AOC's speech www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBFq...
My point is that he wouldn't do it. They probably did reach out to him in a number of ways, and he refused.
16.02.2026 19:49 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Because if he enthusiastically endorsed Kamala, he'd lose a good portion of his audience.
16.02.2026 19:45 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0She should run for Senate or Governor first. Governor would be preferred.
16.02.2026 18:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Doesn't matter. If they're gonna put up another woman, it should be a governor, not a Congresswoman.
Fun fact: outside of Gerald Ford, nobody from the House of Reps has been president since 1880.
How many pro-trans laws has Newsom signed? Like 20? Is that not enough to prove his bonafides?
16.02.2026 18:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah ok you sure it's not doubts based on the last two times the Dems ran a woman?
16.02.2026 18:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This isn't really true.
Trump won the nomination in 2016 because his anti-immigration stance was already popular with the base. He didn't have to convince them or change any minds. That's where they already were.
Except that when you're an influencer with millions of followers, it can actually lead to people not voting in the general.
16.02.2026 06:54 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This started by you comparing the Democratic Party to an abusive husband and the Republican Party to leaving an abusive husband.
16.02.2026 01:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1Yes but you're not supposed to agree with them.
16.02.2026 00:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1You compared the Democratic party to a "physically abusive husband" and the Republican party to being "out in the streets".
Clearly you're saying they're both equally bad...unless I'm misunderstanding and you think being with a physically-abusive husband is preferable? Was that your point?
Yes the fact that you can directly compare states run by both parties, and see these giant black & white differences, makes your analogy stupid.
15.02.2026 20:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Which streets?
If itβs the streets of Texas, you could get arrested for going into the wrong bathroom, and youβll then be put in menβs prison.
So no. Theyβre not the same and your analogy is stupid.
