It wasn’t until my late 30s that I fully appreciated Mellow Pavement. I’d solidly rank this in my top 3 now.

That copy of The Score, always wanted it! But I did get Nada Surf. I never was a member. A shop near me got someone’s castoffs. That’s where I got this one and a few others. And I ordered some when they were offered to non-members. Still mad I don’t have Is This It though.

The first record I ever heard from these guys way back in 2008. Sparse, kind of ethereal, dream-like, intimate. And pour one out for #VinylMePlease, they did this one good.
