Here's an older piece from a heart series. My mother is a triplet, though the only one left, and with Alzheimer's. Maybe it's time for a reinterpretation of some of the themes of this work, Generation.

Soft-angled tan and grey ceramic sculpture. Horizontal in orientation, with recesses and points that jut out, along with several "legs" at the base on one side to hold it at an angle.

One of my organic, low-fire soda sculptures, is in a private collection.

Stoneware clay sculpture, horizontal with lower half supporting upper half. lower portion of sculpted, withering poppy pods, like balloons, and upper part of alternating bone/ridges and dark recesses. Tans, brown/black, orangy browns and splashes of turqoise.
