it made me nostalgic for dao and im not a dao person at all. compared to my 20+ da2 runs I’ve only completed dao like a couple of times lol maybe dragon age was meant to always take place in a shithole you know. it gets too clean and it loses its charm

why we’re hopping between 50 countries and only getting to see one room per country. why everything i just saw has to get described and re explained to me like im stupid. spite talks like a labubu

and i know bc of this (+ the culture war that happened) ppl are super touchy when it comes to genuine critique of this game but man. if i didn’t love this franchise so much i wouldn’t be so frustrated. it deserved so much better than this

the tone of the game is bizarre to me. and DA has always been silly but it’s never been a quirkchungus child of marvel and netflix. and im sure the writer layoffs contributed significantly to this but some things are truly just bizarre, but very apparently deliberate and unfortunate choices

why is dialogue like That. why is everything a millennial joke why is every line like Erm Well this is awkward she’s behind me isn’t she. why was the dialogue about the joining between warden rook and davrin written like a tumblr version of greentext

at least on release i had some sort of rose colored glasses (still annoyed at a lot of it) but this time im being ragebaited every 20 minutes

i knew it was gonna be disappointing but it’s soooo much worse on my replay of veilguard than i thought
