🚨BREAKING. From a program officer at the National Science Foundation, a list of keywords that can cause a grant to be pulled. I will be sharing screenshots of these keywords along with a decision tree. Please share widely. This is a crisis for academic freedom & science.

Photo shows a Google search for “passion synonym.” Result is noun. The suffering and death of Jesus. Similar to crucifixion, pain, suffering, agony, martyrdom, martyrization.
Was trying to find synonyms for the word passion. This is not what I expected #Google to provide me. Since when are we ignoring the main definition and only showing those relate to Jesus?
Maybe it’s time to switch to using Microsoft #Edge who provides all definitions.

I love writing and editing. My ideal job is editing scientific manuscripts before they are submitted to journals for peer review and publication. Save the reviewers, who are working for free, that hassle.
