I've been a fan of Miu Mau for years and it's a profound pleasure to be able to finally put something by them out from my little label. That I've been able to get The Leaf Library to remix them as well is just a wonderful feeling.

Oh, I'd never thought about the comparison so directly but I can see it! I think it says a lot about Trish's cadence and Masami's tone that the parallels come across like that even in a structurally quite different language.

It's also a delight and honour to have, in addition to two new Miu Mau tracks, two wildly different remixes of the song Furidashi by @matthewjashton.bsky.social of @theleaflibrary.bsky.social (who CAR-spotters may recognise from the fabulous Afternoons At The Library album with Sea Level).

Oh, that was the one I worked on (it's me speak/singing). We actually took "I Should Have Known Better" by Wire as our starting point for the arrangement, but MES and The Fall are a huge influence, so very happy to have triggered the misunderstanding, however obliquely!

Would’ve loved to have someone do The Fall on here, so kind of curious which track you were thinking of. A few of them channel a bit of that sort of energy, I suppose.
