bleach anime finally delivering the betrayal-reveal fight the final arc always needed but failed to deliver. god…this plot line was the one thing i was invested in for this arc all for nothing and now we’re getting fed years later

the mandalorian was also arguably at it’s best when not doing this, and even when it did, the structure of the show left a different impression. the departure from this was a huge factor in its decline

started watching andor and it’s pretty clear by now that new star wars content is probably at it’s best when it’s not explicitly trying to replicate star wars or give needless cameos or throwbacks and instead letting familiar worldbuilding do the heavy-lifting

i think it very appropriate that echoes of wisdom is also the first zelda game (co) directed by a woman, tomomi sano. and i really think her experience coordinating and acting as assistant director for the remakes of older zelda games (oot, mm, la, tp) helped give it that “traditional zelda” feel

Usually experiencing enough anxiety to cause chaos and require order while giving me something to direct my mind at, but I’m not in a position where I can cause enough anxiety with high enough stakes for this to even work

I’m so used to trying to bring order to a mind in near-constant chaos, having developed so many techniques to do so, that I have absolutely zero clue how to handle the reverse situation.

New doses of high/low mood stabilizers are now working in-sync. Problem is, the parts my brain that craves comfort is so content it’s useless and the suppressed part of my brain that craves chaos is rattling the bars of the cage and telling me this is deeply wrong (and it has a point).
