Here is my whole lunch from today 👀✨ ain’t no way I’m going to be able to eat this all but I’m so glad I got that box from free desserts becuase I’m going to be stuffy it all into there, except for ofc the main meal

This cafeteria on my campus is a BYOC no takeout boxes 😭

I really wish I can make another pound cake cuz omg it tasted so dang good especially with the strussle crumble/topping we used

Another day of productions, sorry for the bad photos I took this after class cuz I forgot to take it during

Chef cut into the pound cake for grading and then I had to shove my eclairs into a bag to take back to my dorm

But hey I got to take back some tasty desserts hehe

Forgot which day this was but one of the days we segmented grapefruit

And made eclairs

The little cup was yellow past next to the grapefruit scraps is the pastry cream for the eclairs

That I had to remake too that day xD seems like a lot of production fails on my end lol

Oh I don’t know if I ever shared this 👀 so this was day two of what we made during our baking class

We made blueberry muffins and shortbread cookies

Now that I think about it I think I failed my first batch of muffins and had to restart! But in the end they came out good :3

There is one person I know of that ended up not having a few of their things and I kind of wonder what will happen to them 😓

I ended up with a burned finger and cut myself 😭

Honestly I was thinking of not going to today’s class but if I didn’t I’d be f-ed for the next coming class cuz we need the stuff we made for today for our next class;;;

But anyways I’m finished and about 60% of the other class is still not done cuz either their first batch of one of their items didn’t come out right or well enough and have to remake it

We prob were late by a whole hour from when we were supposed to finish

which honestly shouldn’t happen if everyone washes their stuff themselves but it’s a beginners kitchen and even I sometimes have to leave my dishes there just so I can rush to work on my other stuff (generally your supposed to wash your dishes and clean your stations after you finish one thing)

Class starts at 7:00am people usually arrive earlier just to get a heads start

Production should have stopped at 11:15am

And I finished maybe 5 min after that

So I go off and do dishes cuz there is a bunch of them just sitting at the sink

Ignore if you don’t wanna hear me yap xD

Today’s class production list: Lady fingers, Chocolate roulade, Chocolate pastry cream, and Poached pears

Today was honestly supposed to be easier then the rest but majority of the people including myself ended up falling behind

WAIT WHAT REALLY!?

This week was really interesting with the wild life on campus 👀 I saw a snake on the way back from from a class (I actually saw the snake a second time when I went out to get a package) and then earlier today right as I walked out of my dorm I saw a ground hog

I wanna add that they were serving this with chili crisps and OMG I wish I asked them for like a container of it cuz I really miss my chili crisps

Specially Laoganma!!

Today they were serving ramen 😋

I had this for lunch and sinner

The first one I got had brisket and I got a shoyu base while the second one I got was a chicken and I chose miso soup base for that one (I’ll be posting that one on my main account later :3)

For the main plate it was lamb with layered potato with what I think was cheese, and then spinach on the side And then on the right was a piece of bread and some kind of meaty dip, with a pate a choux as an extra dip cuz that single slice of sour dough bread would not have been enough for the amount they gave me And then in the middle of that place was a beat and onion salad Fart right was really good combination of a slice of ham mayo and a mini pickle Top left of that plate was a piece of lettuce with like a fish paste with a walnut (doesn’t sound good but it was good 😋) And then top of the plate was a piece of bread with camalized onion and garlic (the bread was like focaccia texture (slightly soggy prob cuz it observed mode of the onion which tasted so good))

Ooo but this meal here, this was good
