Yes. This. I, for the first time in my life, feel threatened. And, in a way, I am grateful as it has given me such insight into what black and LGBT Americans have always experienced. And it is eye-opening indeed. So maybe some good comes from all this bad.

Today, at the ripe age of 69, I attended my first protest. What an exhilarating experience to be among so many people, of every age, race and demographic, all focused on our deep love for our constitution and country, with empathy and compassion for our fellow humans.
