Hoppers (2026):
I’m gonna be real here, this is probably the most unhinged movie that Pixar has made to date (at least during the second half).

My audience was erupting in absolute hysteria during certain moments, so I hope this incentivizes Pixar to make more films like this in the future.

Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie (2025):
This whole thing felt like a giant “Back to the Future” parody, and even though it was sort of a weird movie all around, the humor balances things out perfectly.

I could see this becoming a new modern classic within a decade or so.

The day this Paramount WB acquisition manages to get through every legal/regulatory hurdle it faces for some insane reason will also be the day I give up on Hollywood. The film industry keeps getting worse every year, and I'm starting to wonder if I even want to pursue a filmmaking career anymore.

The Revenant (2015):
This honestly might be one of the best survival films that's come out in recent years. It's no surprise that Leonardo DiCaprio's performance in this finally gave him his first Best Actor Oscar.

I really look forward to seeing what director Alejandro G. Iñárritu does next.

I don't think this is the worst movie I've seen this year, nor is it the best. I just thought it was fine for what it was. It's so average that I don't have many things to say about it. But then again, taste is always different from person to person.

Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961):
Honestly, I don't really know what I was expecting from this. It is charming though, and Audrey Hepburn especially shines brighter than a diamond with her performance.

Gonna have to take a few points off due to Mickey Rooney's controversial character however.

Between this movie and fellow 20th Century release "Ella McCay," idk which one's worse. However, this somehow manages to be the more boring and uninspired of the two.

I now see why Disney left this on the shelf for three years after filming wrapped.

EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert (2025):
If you're a big fan of Elvis, then this is absolutely the movie for you. All the archival footage throughout this movie was incredible to see and the soundtrack is very good too. I still need to check out Baz Luhrmann's other Elvis movie though.
