As much as I hate IMAX for that AI film festival they did a while back, this is an opportunity I'm not willing to throw away.

I really don't think I need to explain how well this movie's held up, but considering this was a movie I used to watch all the time as a kid, I'd say this is still as amazing as I remember it being.

Give this a watch if you haven't already. I promise, this will be well worth your time.

A few months ago they thought it would be a good idea to sell themselves out and launch an AI based division.

I've never forgiven them since and I refuse to watch a majority, if not all of their movies going forward. How the mighty indie has fallen. It's a travesty.

Bugonia (2025):
While I definitely think this movie’s weird, at least it has a coherent story unlike director Yorgos Lanthimos’ previous movie (which I absolutely hated).

Emma Stone and Jesse Plemmons’ performances are probably the best ones. Yorgos definitely deserves that directing break.

Predator: Badlands (2025):
I’ve never seen any of the other movies in this series before, but it’s very clear that only a man like Dan Trachtenberg can make a movie centered around a hero Predator work perfectly.

Would recommend checking this out if these movies are your cup of tea.

It’s been a while since I last received something in my mailbox before its intended release date.

I'll never forgive Microsoft for cancelling Contraband. Literally as soon as I heard Steely Dan's "Do It Again" at the start of its reveal trailer, I audibly gasped. Steely Dan's the first band I think I ever recall listening to and I loved that song so much when I was very young.

Is Capcom TRYING to bankrupt my wallet on purpose? I literally just pre-ordered the Resident Evil Generation Pack yesterday. 💀💀💀

It's far past 1985, but that doesn't mean this movie's now considered bad compared to most modern movies. In fact, I'd say this still remains timeless. Who doesn't love the original songs by Huey Lewis and the News or basically the entire main cast?

The original 8/10 I gave this still remains.

About damn time I got another Switch 2 pre-order arrive on the day of its release. It’s been almost two months since that last happened.

Wednesday, 11/12 at 7 PM EST and Saturday, 11/15 at 10 PM EST.

This collection just keeps growing. 🔥

Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere (2025):
While I'm not a diehard fan of the titular musician, nor have I really listened to much of his music before, I thought this was a rather solid biopic.

Whether or not this'll attain serious awards attention remains to be seen.

My cousins are still big Pokémon fans, so I'm sure they wouldn't mind as much if they get the game at some point (one of them's been eyeing it for a while but neither of them own a Switch 2 and don't plan on getting one for a while).

Either way, I didn't know such discourse was spreading around.

There’s polarization over this? I don’t know if I ever knew that. The only real major criticism I’ve heard so far is (as per usual with Pokémon games) the lack of voice acting in the cutscenes.

One major positive I’ve heard leading up to its launch was the battle system. Idk what else I’m missing.

Finally here. I know two days since launch doesn’t seem like much of a difference, but I really wish this got here earlier.

Good Fortune (2025):
If it weren't for the recent Naked Gun reboot, I'd call this the funniest movie of the year. Seriously, I had a blast with this and I applaud what Aziz Ansari was able to do with this as a first-time director.

This movie has earned its wings in my book!

Tron: Ares (2025):
I’m so close to calling this the best movie in the series because I genuinely didn’t think it would be this good. However, Jared Leto’s controversies are what’s holding me back from saying this is better than Legacy.

If anything, I’d say this is also another popcorn flick.
