It seems like a common pattern with a lot of these companies trying to poach big established talent is to be like “no budget, no rules, sky’s the limit” then arbitrarily decide that they’ve overspent their blank cheque. There’s a limit, you just won’t know until you hit it.

I was just venting to a friend the other day about how 10 years ago it was like… unheard of to see this volume of projects get so far into development before the company funding it decides “project cancelled, everyone go home” how much money is being thrown away on art no one gets to see?

i get why NoA was very selective in where they went during the treehouse live segment because once you see outside of the small area they were in you can find things and figure out exactly where you are if you've played gen 1 at all

there was even a conversation between paras and bulbasaur where bulbasaur believes that maybe the reason paras is so hungry all the time is because the flowers on its back are getting ready to sprout similar to the bulb on bulbasaur's back.

also paras is going to make me sad in this game. the writing really plays up that this paras is a child full of innocence and has dreams of growing up big and strong to help everyone, because he always feels weak and hungry.

i like that they brought back morning and evening hours pokemon in pokopia. i like that pokopia has a real time clock and finding pokemon isn't reduced to just day and night.

i'm awake, hi. i was up all day yesterday so i was up 24 hours the other day. i wound up playing pokopia for a long time. also watched a music teacher react to mario kart world's soundtrack. which was a 16 hour stream

i'm still at the beginning of pokopia and already hooked

i think fandom would do well to bring back the concept of "a reading" which is different from "a headcanon". a headcanon can be anything and is total fun. a reading works with the text to come up with particular interpretations of the work, its characters, etc.
