How to win in November

There are three state level candidates sponsored by DraftKings - Jaime Andrade, Adam Braun, and Sara Feigenholtz - and all three have either no showed or won't agree to a debate.

A pattern emerges.

Raja is absolutely awful no matter which way you look at it. He's MAGA in Dem clothes. Juliana Stratton is your classic Progressive Except for Palestine, which is a shame because her domestic policy platform is excellent and she's great on the bully pulpit.

Don't use it as a bellwether when she loses though. Finally deciding to use the word genocide 8 weeks before election day reads as incredibly hollow and craven to a lot of us. Doubly so when you actually watch the video clips of her on the debate stage and see that she can barely choke the word out.

I’m voting for Toni Preckwinkle because she solves big problems. Being able to wipe away this much medical debt will help lift people out of poverty and inject money into our local economy that would otherwise go to big corporations.

An official letter from the Kansas Division of Vehicles dated February 23, 2026, with a redacted recipient address. The letter notifies the recipient that due to the enactment of Senate Bill 244, all Kansas driver's licenses and IDs must reflect the holder's sex at birth. It states that the recipient's current credential will become invalid immediately upon the law's publication on February 26, 2026, with no grace period. The recipient is directed to surrender their current ID to receive a new one matching their sex assigned at birth. The document concludes with instructions on how to appeal the notice if received in error, along with contact information for the department.

Kansas is sending letters to trans people telling them that their licenses will be revoked as of tomorrow and that they risk arrest for driving on a suspended license.
