I think this is a valid take. I'm hopeful because the dev team was always subject to the will of Niantic's "vision", hopefully now they'll have more liberty to bring the features and, more importantly, the repairs PoGo needs to be as good as it once was.

On one hand I can appreciate landing on a "peak design" but it just pushes me further towards a foldable. I want more utility in my mobile devices and I feel like foldables are really the only thing doing that at the moment. Especially if you're not terrible interested in AI.
