As much as I also think this OP is cool...having rewatched Wing, it's now also so funny to me, coz EVERYTHING screams that this was clearly supposed to debut around ep 30, not 41, and certainly not this perfect version in the last two eps.
Like it was far from ready at the time.

Now that I've rewatched Wing, the more this OP is so hilarious to me. This OP debuts so late, at ep 41, and the beeps version only at 48!
Plus some other nuttiness, you get the feeling that this, beep version or not, should've debuted around ep 30, but got severely delayed.

That didn't get used until the last 2 episodes. As i rewatched Wing and the more I watched the openings, something seriously told me that there was some opening budget buffoonery going on for the "better" versions to debut so late.
