It's not even just the human figure aspect, it's everything about the work: the medium, the colour palette, the texturing, the full background with none of the paper/canvas texture visible. It's an extremely modern style in comparison. I'd be genuinely shocked if the work was his.

I recommend the book Unmasking Autism by Devon Price; really helped me identify more of my own autistic traits that didn't fit those stereotypes, and slowly learn to unmask. Now I'm like damn I'm so obviously autistic, how did this fly under the radar so long?? Manifesting that for you too <3

With that + the diagnostic criteria still being massively biased towards stereotypical young white boys who love trains + the fact that I'd been masking so heavily my whole life that even *I* didn't quite know how to take the mask off fully, it's no surprise my tests were inconclusive at first. 2/3
