A low-hanging fruit use case for offline-first is notes - I might be unable to access the cloud, but my offline-first note taking app (@noteplan.bsky.social) still works and I can be somewhat productive & collaboration is optional.

Could you clarify "and then by the product" ? Is there another column on the product table that filters batches?

Unfortunately views are not included in Postgres replication streams, so we can't sync from them :(

care to share any details on the problem you were having with the sync rules? happy to help figure out whether sync streams would solve it

One interesting avenue of thought here is mentorship. Highly personalized teacher & mentor (in contrast with mass production schools) seems like an inevitable use case. And if it's really good, people will become emotionally attached to their mentors.
