Caorthann/Caorann/Rowan, a tree you’ll find bursting with red berries this autumn, crops up regularly in the tales of the fianna. In Bruíon Chaorthainn, Fionn and his men are trapped by their enemies in a magical hall made of rowan wood.

"Idir" (=at all) is the name of the dog. This really only works in Gaelic. :P
