I was originally going to save this for Halloween but no me I have to watch it tonight. This might be my favorite episode of the entire show.

Happy 35th anniversary to the original Simpson’s Halloween Special, one of the most important half hours in television history (for me)

I had more to say about the Doom movie than I thought I would!

It’s the 20th Anniversary of Doom. Don’t recall this being very good but I’m going to β€œcelebrate” anyway by watching it the way The Rock always intended

I’m working on drastically reducing my regular drinking and stuff like Guinness 0.0 has been a godsend. I actually just got an order of NA pumpkin beer delivered to my house as this time of year is particularly hard as a self described pumpkin slut

Quite possibly the most important album of my life turns 25 today. I have fond memories of picking the cd up at Best Buy and immediately popping it into a little boombox in the back of my dad’s convertible (stereo was broken). Didn’t know what to make of it in that moment but it’s now my favorite.

Alien Earth is the best of the franchise since Alien 3 if not even better (I like Alien 3). Retains the visual aesthetic of the films but actually does something new and interesting with the material. Might be the best piece of television I’ve watched since Dead Ringers. The highest praise
