It’s so weird to me what it implies about gender/sexual power dynamics if it’s truly seen as just the standard. I just don’t (want to) believe that of many of these characters, like on a craft level. But idk I was raised to never say good girl/boy to a child so maybe it’s not as deep for others lol.
