After years of a corrupt incompetent Tory govt. UK needs to get itself back in the EU as soon as possible and to bring in PR . However, it's clear that Labour or Reform (reject Tories) are NOT the future. https://join.greenparty.org.uk/

Starmer is not so smart. He lied his way into the leadership, cut out the left of his party and followed a Tory agenda and is now surprised he has lost all support.

Climate crisis: We’ve filed our challenge to Starmer’s delay | Good Law Project Global heating is all around us and the government isn’t doing enough – so we’re taking them to court

"The UK needs to stop exporting jobs and importing carbon. So they need to stop closing down factories in the UK, only to import high-carbon products from overseas. They need to count our carbon emissions properly, and tackle job losses and poverty here in the UK by creating green jobs."

Once again, it shows that we need a law that criminalises politicians who lie. It's sad but this Labour government doesn't seem too keen to enact this. I wonder why?

You are absolutely right. My council has a special department of regeneration which presumably has a large payroll cost. They could well better spend the money on potholes throughout the borough.

US along with Israel are in an illegal war. UK should urgently cancel all Palentir contracts. For once Sir Keir, please do the right thing and get these people OUT of our data and military.

End of a special relationship: Why it is over between Starmer and Trump Donald Trump’s interviews have revealed that his close relationship with Keir Starmer is finished, political editor David Maddox explains that the break down is much more than a disagreement over Iran

Perhaps now Starmer’s Labour government will at last focus on Europe, a CU, the SM and the EU.

Returnees to the UK if they have been out of the country for a certain period, should be made to pay for their NHS treatment until such times as they have made sufficient NI contributions.

Starmer’s position on Iran pleases no one, but that is because there are no good options | Rafael Behr None of the prime minister’s critics engages with the hard strategic dilemmas arising from Britain’s perilous dependency on US power, says Guardian columnist Rafael Behr

Perhaps stop trying to β€œmake Brexit work” then. Do the same thing most countries do. Get into a trading bloc with their nearest neighbours ….. oooo wonder who that might be with ?

Keir Starmer when you were running for Labour leader you promised to introduce this legislation to stop the UK being dragged into illegal wars - it's time to show you were serious about that.

Where I live there are some roadworks that in other countries would have taken 7-10 days. Here, it is five months and counting and hardly a workman in sight. I wonder how broke this country really is?

Labours attitudes towards water companies is one of the starkest examples of how they'll do anything to protect the status quo.

The case for water nationalisation is so bloody obvious to everyone - yet they'll do anything they can to keep the failed privatisation experiment.

I wonder whether the truth is that the navy doesn't have enough sailors to man these ships and that rather than admit that, they say that the ships are under maintenance?

You need to ask why these important debates are being scheduled for late afternoons in a 50-seat committee room of Westminster Hall where they will get little or no MSM coverage.

Exclusive: Greens second most popular party, new Sky poll reveals Exclusive polling shows the Green Party have leapfrogged Labour in voting intention polls, as the second most popular UK party. Sky's Sam Coates explains.

The choice is stark. Reform are the party of foreign wars and high bills.

The Greens want de-escalation and energy security through renewables. Solar and wind prices don't fluctuate when rogue US presidents launch illegal bombing campaigns.

Turns out lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services is really popular.

This is just the beginning - people are seeing through the attacks and demanding something better.

And we're making hope normal again - together.

The blatant Islamophobia that Keir Starmer is demonstrating through smearing Mothin Ali would be shocking - but it's becoming a pattern.

Smearing a caring man of principle for standing up for peace.

Abysmal, immoral, cruel, small hearted, tiny minded, ineffective, undemocratic, and just generally utterly indecent. What a bitter godforesaken disappointment these people are.

I would like to hear details from @greenparty.org.uk @zackpolanski.bsky.social @eddavey.libdems.org.uk @libdems.org.uk on what exactly they plan to do about joining a CU, SM and the EU as a whole with timescales.

No more illegal wars. Introduce a prevention of military intervention act and put human rights at the heart of foreign policy. Review all UK arms sales and make us a force for international peace and justice.

The majority of people in this country do not want us to be involved in this war.

Keir Starmer of a few years ago wouldn't have supported this war.

The only reason he does now is he will do anything Donald Trump wants - and it makes us all less safe.

Polanski and Farage have more in common than you might think Despite huge political differences, the Green and Reform leaders have much in common, writes Laura Kuenssberg.

I had to try to read this because of the title. Wow, she tries REALLY hard to justify her claim by stitching together laughable 'similarities' and inferences. She's smearing Polanski with the Farage BS because he rattles her.
