And a Federal judge has now ordered DHS/USCG to put it (and all crew and support) back at the airport immediately, pending a full hearing.

And are claiming, as usual, that he was attempting to obstruct/assault them. (And by at least one earlier report, trying to file obstruction charges against his older brother for - checks notes - showing up with his documents and getting him out of detention.)

I don't know when Macaroni & Cheese became a regular thing at Thanksgiving, but it was never part of mine. (Noodles Romanoff at Christmas, yes, but you have to squint really hard to compare the two.)

A "fun fact" addendum: the 4-acre site at the airport that ICE's contractor wanted to lease was previously considered as a space for a new County animal shelter, and rejected by the planning commission and the Sheriff's office (which runs the shelter) due to excessive noise exposure for the animals.

As noted elsewhere, ICE is f*cking around other places in Oregon - like trying to build a concentration camp on the central coast without any consultation with local or state officials, and apparently setting up an extortion scheme to do it:

First thing you might do is get the USCG rescue helicopter put back at the Newport airport _as required by law_, since DHS suddenly decided to move it to North Bend and empty out the support facility.

Lives depend on that helo, Ms Hoyle. Congress passed a law to keep it here, but DHS is ignoring it

There's more sh!t going on in Oregon with ICE right now: they appear to be trying to put in a detention center on the central coast, and have pulled the local Coast Guard rescue helicopter out of the local airport, either as blackmail or to use the granted Federal property. 1/

USCG are not military. They can be put under the command of the US Navy in time of war.

They are a uniformed and armed service of the US, but they are a part of DHS.
