I failed in my attempt to get my first shingles dose yesterday. Scheduled it and covid booster. The computer suggested I also get RSV, so I added it. Pharmacist gave 2 jabs (Covid & RSV), then said they wouldn’t give shingles & RSV on same day bc I’d be too ill. hope to get it later this week.

I’ve been fine with amphetamine-dextroamphetamine (adderall) for the past 10 yrs, and no prob w methylphenidate back in the day. Increased heart rate and BP is a very common side effect of stimulants, and not an automatic contraindication. If you reduce caffeine while on Rx, HR and BP might improve.

FWIW, I had a side effect of depression from vyvanse. As part of the side effect, I had worsened attention/concentration, motivation, etc. So, yes, this could be a side effect. Also, stimulant meds don’t need to build up to be effective, you can see the effect ~immediately. This Rx is a bad fit.
