I’d never be hired for anything but playing a plank of wood without it.” “Give me the name of your doctor, because holy shit.” “Absolutely not. I’m keeping him all to myself. I went to Miami to get it done.”

The original casting call had said “Lead, Male, 18-25” which is more than enough for Ed to be interested. He’s only twenty-three and his future looks bright, but he’s still brown and he’s still Canadian, so if he wants to live in Hollywood and have an Oscar or two on his mantle before he turns thirty he’s got to start landing some bigger roles. And then the second text from his agent had said: they want someone mixed race who’ll be cool with a lot of gay sex onscreen and Ed had known deep in his soul and his hole this would be his big break. He’d landed the role. Who the fuck else would they have cast, honestly - hot shot young queer dude with eyes made for yearning? It’s so Ed Teach it’s almost embarrassing. True, besides those things, Shane Hollander is very different from Ed in most ways. That’s why it’s called acting.
