Six Imprisoned Writers Have Been Released!

On 11 September, 52 political prisoners were freed and forcibly taken out of Belarus. Among those freed are some of our imprisoned writers: Uładzimir Mackievič, Mikoła Dziadok, Zmicier Daškievič, Łarysa Ščyrakova, Pavieł Mažejka, Pavieł Vinahradaŭ.

Maksim Znak, författare, poet och jurist dömdes till 10 års fängelse i Belarus.

Sedan 2023 har han inte tillåtits kontakter utanför fängelset.

Finlands PEN kräver att Maksim Znak friges.

Runoilija, kirjailija ja juristi Maksim Znak tuomittiin Valko-Venäjällä 10 vuoden vankeuteen.

Helmikuusta 2023 lähtien häneltä on kielletty kaikki yhteydenpito ulkomaailmaan.

Suomen PEN vaatii Maksim Znakin vapauttamista.
