In the evening, we visited teamLab Biovortex and enjoyed very much what we saw.

If you enjoy especially these kind of exhibitions, then you must see this one! Personally I wished I'd had more time to explore.

Highly recommend to visit mumokuteki cafe if you have a chance!

On Thursday we went to visit the nearby temple, checked Nomura Tailor so we could return there later, and ate at the most delicious vegan restaurant/cafe I've visited in my life. Thanks @hoottipyon.bsky.social for the recommendation!

I also encourage to start using make-up and contouring instead of calling everyone gay and hammering your face.

Even if I also like to joke that men in general can't tell the difference between natural make-up and no-make-up face, it's actually a problem. Doesn't matter what gender you are you should be able to tell what one can achieve with make-up, Instagram filters, picture angles, or plastic surgery.

Story-time: when I was still a teenager I really hated how my armpits looked like even after they were shaved. I'm naturally brunette and my skin on armpits is a bit darker. However, deodorant ads showed perfect-white armpits and I was confused how one can get that. Disclaimer: it's Photoshop magic.

Husband noted that the key difference between women and men expectations is that women in general are ok with the idea that they can compensate the lacking parts with make-up, taping, lash extensions, push-up bras, and so on. Men on the other hand expects to achieve everything naturally.

We discussed more about this in sauna since this whole thing is just so bizarre. It's not the first time we've talked how no-one adresses unrealistic beauty standards men faces vs. how it's done with women. The discussion around the latter one could ofc be always better but at least it exists.

In Japan, the custom is to buy drink tickets at the same time you buy the concert ticket or after you enter the venue. You can get either soft drinks or booze with that drink ticket and buy more later. I really liked that concept. In Finland, you usually pay for cloak room fee the same way.

We've also been in various concerts but this was our first time when we packed in a live house that could take in only ~80 persons. Even bar gigs in Finland are not that small or are as tight spaced.

I didn't know who asayake no ato is but my husband has listened to them from the start and is still their big fan. I also turned into their fan after the concert. I seriously hope them the best, so even more people could see them live.

First two days we pretty much shopped and bathed in our hotel's onsen. On Tuesday we went to asayake no ato's concert and were the only ones from abroad. I have no pictures from the concert but you might be able to spot me from other's live footages on Instagram. Instead, I have food pictures.

I seriously thought that the earlier "hack" I saw for "cleaning" air fryer was stupid (basically put every single possible chemical in it and bake it and then find out it just ruined your machine) but oh boi I was wrong.

We stayed two weeks: one week in Kyoto and the second one in Tokyo. We arrived on Monday and stayed one night at Shinagawa before we took a shinkansen to Kyoto.

I ended up buying a new phone even if the previous one was still okay. A bit impulse buying BUT it had a feature my previous oneä didn't have + I can now turn my old phone into tiktok-only-phone and start my brainrot era. I hope that my new covers arrive before Desucon but I doubt.

My legit fear is that I accidentally like or repost random reels on Instagram. That fear actualised today after I noticed one of my followers had liked a reposted reel which I hadn't reposted purposely. Fortunately it wasn't the shittiest meme shit but will I be a more nervous now on? 100% surely.
