The nice thing is this backdrop is still hanging out at the former MGM Scenic Arts Department. (At least, it was until a few years ago, and probably still is.)

The boot-shaped Rubin Observatory stands beneath a star-filled night sky. The Andromeda Galaxy is an extended disk glowing to the left of the dome above the dark mountain ridge.

That IS so cool! Very fond of dragons myself. I occasionally manage to take myself off to a good sized yearly science fiction convention called DragonCon. Oddly enough, it's maybe 1% dragons and 99% assorted geeky things. Pretty much something for everybody. Lots of fun. :)
