MPs call for overhaul of NHS planning and budget process

The Public Accounts Committee has criticised NHS officials for complacency amid major challenges, urging an overhaul of planning and budgeting. It called for clarity on productivity targets, but NHS England dismissed the report as 'flawed' with 'factual inaccuracies'.
