Been saying elsewhere, VAR isn’t the issue. The standard of refereeing on and off the pitch, and the total inconsistency in applying laws is the issue.
We’ve got the same poor refs but with added technology too.

Other sports have adopted technology with so fewer issues. I don’t understand why football can’t?

watched MoTD for 1st time in years and my feeling is the technology isn’t the problem, the refs make a horlicks of applying it. Sunderland had a clear penalty and Burnley’s equaliser should only be ruled it if it’s ’clear and obvious’ and given it took over 5 mins how can it have been?! Madness.
