I still need fellow video game scrimblo enjoyers, but it’s a nice feeling that my interests and hobbies feel more uniquely me among a greater set of interests and hobbyists, rather than making me feel imposter syndrome at a costume party… does that make sense?

Truthfully I’ve had a better time hanging out in vrchat lately than streaming. Everyone I’ve hung out with is very different from eachother. I’m only like 1 out of 2 vtubers in the group, so vtubing isn’t the glue loosely holding things together, its leads to interesting and fun hangouts.

This is something I’ve always felt by being friends with artists, as an artist: it just gets real fuckin’ lonely real quick. No one is available. Having a diverse set of friends of different skills, interests, and hobbies is better for your social life.

I guess an actual harsh vtubing truth is that I do get bummed that I just barely meet new people through vtubing anymore compared to when I first started. I don’t really like how vtuber audiences are just other vtubers.

Both a symptom of not following a lot of people, and that majority of people I did follow stopped using it over the past year

Bluesky is nice cause I can not look at it for 6 hours, and come back to like 5 new posts before I’m caught up again.

When trying to use Twitter on desktop/pc for the past week, the following tab loads maybe 1 to 4 random posts from the past 6 hours and nothing more once scrolling down. I don’t know if this is exclusively a me issue or it’s broken for everyone, but it’s an absolute pain to keep up now.
