Multiple election offices report receiving mailed ballots misdirected from other states
The Associated Press has found numerous instances of completed mail ballots from around the country being sent to election offices in the wrong state.
While a stray ballot ending up in the wrong place can happen, the number destined for other states and counties that ended up at Thompsonβs office is unusual. Offices in Calif., Louisiana, New Mexico also reported receiving ballots that should have gone to other states. apnews.com/article/elec...

North Carolina Republicans have advanced legislation that would weaken the powers of the incoming governor, attorney general and schools superintendent.
