Looking back on this image, what really surprises me is how many current day color reversal film scans with dslr and mirrorless cameras have lackluster color reproduction when compared to film scanners.

I vaguely rember that there were renovations on the facade to repair the damage of time. The argus lense was not sharp but the color rendition was good for such an old cheap for the time lens. The wet scan has better contrast than the original hence looks to have more contrast and dynamic range.

Sorry I checked its a 2007 shot and a 2016 rescan, I typically find digital camera scans of color negative film to be lacking but with alot of work it can be decent.

When record stores were common maybe 2009 and film was cheap
