In the paper, I descibe how the group reimagines water governance away from current understandings of water limited to #irrigation. Instead they reframe water in the form of the #rainfall and all the different ecological, social and spatio-temporal relations the rainfall supports.

The paper presents extensive qualitative research I conducted with the Revitalising Rainfed Agriculture Network - a grassroots organisation that advances an alternative understanding of #rainfed regions as lively and dynamic socio-ecologies.
