White America is currently waking up to a reality that everyone else has been keenly aware of since the founding of this country. A reality everyone else has been BEGGING white people to understand and help fix - "None of us are safe, and NOW they're finally coming for YOU." (4/4)

"Activated" means that when YOU feel safe again, you don't stop. You keep going to help more people get there.

"Scared"? Scared means that once you stop seeing white people get shot in broad daylight on camera, you think you're done. (3/4)

"Activated" means you are doing the work to educate yourself and distance yourself from the ignorance of privilege. Putting your own comfort aside to help dismantle a system that has benefitted, and stunted, many of us in this country for basically our entire lives. (2/4)

This isn't about "training issues." The murderer who executed Renee Good has been with ICE for 10 years, and according to DHS, the murderer who executed Alex Pretti has been there for 8 years.

These aren't "new recruits," or officers that can be "retrained." ICE can't be reformed. Abolish ICE.
