It was, to borrow Wellington’s famous expression after Waterloo, “a near run thing”... Disappointing, especially seeing as the Jays out hit and out scored the Dodgers in the series, but such is the way of things sometimes. Oh well, next year for sure, right?

What an awesome journey. It didn't work out in the end, and that's ok.

The Blue Jays were a novice team going into the World Series, up against previous champion team, even so, they beat the Dodgers badly on diff games, even went nearly 7 hrs to play 18 innings, that shows they are an impressive team. Hope it's not going to be another 32 yrs until another World Series!
