Profit shifting doesn't just affect tax revenues – it fundamentally alters investment incentives, creating fundamental trade-offs that cannot be ignored.

Right wing think tank (AEI) employee Roger Pielke Jr. has formed a cozy relationship with the Murdoch media as he spreads climate disinformation in Australia.

Any political “leader” still selling the obviously false choice between #ClimateAction and “the economy” is just reminding us that they clearly don’t understand either the climate crisis OR the economy.
Or they’re cynically hope that WE don’t understand the difference.
Or both.
I feel like a broken record telling media, universities, and think tanks that falling in line and enabling an authoritarian takeover won't save you from the authoritarian's reprisals. It just marks you as an idiot who can be squeezed for more concessions.
