Grassroots sport is unleashed as we launch our strategy for 2025-29 🔥

Our network currently reaches 1M young people annually and we are extending our support to other age groups to ensure no-one misses out on the benefits of sport and physical activity

Kit Out Sunderland collected 189kg of sports kit, active wear and footwear to give to local participants 🔥

The scheme is a partnership between Active Sunderland, Rise, Sported, StreetGames, Youth Sport Trust and funded by North East Combined Authority 🤝

Sported's Team Wales were out at #gofod3 with @WCVACymru this week!

Hosting a stall they met with groups within the Sported network and others interested in joining, as well as hearing from speakers such as @Tenni_GT and catching up with VBVA winner Ravi 👋

Last night we celebrated 10 years of the VBVA by combining it with our first-ever Sported Awards!

Sported has today launched The Grassroots Sport Lottery to keep sport accessible to all.

It'll allow clubs to run their own #lottery cost-free - as well as helping to raise funds to support grassroots sport in communities nationwide. <news story link – sported.org.uk/grassroots-s...

The Barclays Community Sport Fund is delivered by Sported for football, cricket and tennis clubs to access:
