Sujit Patil is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Botany at The New College Kolhapur Maharashtra, India. He is working on the systematics of the Merremieae tribe from India, and studies Morphology, Palynology, Seedling Morphology and Cytology.

Our March schedule is out!! Two talks are planned by MSc student @mariedeclercq.bsky.social and Prof. dr. Maria Teresa Buril. Both on #Ipomoea 🪴 hope to see you there!

Dr. Choudhary has conducted extensive research across all four biodiversity hotspots in India. As a pioneer in molecular phylogeny of Indian plants, his recent focus includes the Eriocaulaceae, Capparaceae, and Smilacaceae families.

Deibson is a PhD student, located in Brazil. He is currently working on the biosystematics of species complexes of the Convolvulaceae family, through integrative approaches.

A new paper is out 🥳

Two new species of #Maripa are described in the Northern Andean Region of South America. Maripa daironii has been found in Colombia, and Maripa marimba in Ecuador.
