Umihara Kawase, the first or third (Sayonara) games. They are difficult to beat, but the grappling hook is fun to learn and the short downtimes make game over's feel forgiving despite having to start over.

Incidentally, folks in Hillsboro, OR, we've been ordering takeout from China Wok on Cornell Road since the start of the lockdowns, I'm glad they've been in business and they've been our pick for Chinese take-out almost exclusively for six years. Their Crab Rangoon never survives the first night. 😆

Lunch isn't terribly photogenic IMO, but: leftover Beef Lo Mein, mixed with cocktail sauce (ketchup and horseradish sauce). Added enough zing to it to finish off those leftovers.

the first truly great emulation website i'd ever seen was a spot called "Emulation Universe" - it was the first site I'd encountered that had anything resembling a complete set of NES games.

Also used to be one that had a complete (for v0.36) MAME set; I forgot its name after all these years.
