Two of the surviving machines from the great war, awoken from their stasis and running rampant in the sterile halls of the southern labs. The first, codename Archer, was a nimble but fragile unit made to distribute landmines across vast swaths of land in a short amount of time. It came equipped with a high power, hard light compound bow which could quickly take out any scouts or soldiers that compromised its position, build to tear through any hard light shielding they might have used, though it struggled against physical plate armors.

The second machine, codename reaper, was built as a fast-moving, heavy hitting frontline unit. It was meant to run head first into battle supported by covering fire and at least five other units, sweeping with its scythe and carving a chunk out of the enemy forces before it could be effectively taken out. Reaper units never saw the light of battle, as they were seen as too impractical and expensive when compared to conventional arms such as missiles, and as such, the ones that were built remain in the labs where they were developed.
