This Saturday our film 'Something Glamorous Something Awkward' is premiering at #WomenXFest!

Women X is the UK’s leading international women’s film festival. The film shows on Saturday 20th September 17:00pm (running time for all films is 80m).

In this series the artist uses rough material, faded imagery, and the title (‘remnants’, ‘fragments’) to show how they are in the process of moving on from this distorted way of viewing the self.

This work is a small, abstract, human-like figure in a seated position. A ‘homunculus’ refers to the historical idea of a fully formed but miniature human.
