As an American allergic to wheat, corn, potatoes, (to name a few bc there’s a LOT)….the banana one hurts the most, especially since this will include plantain. Food allergies is a disability and consistently maintaining a filling, nutritious diet is deceptively hard and challenging to afford.

My pure motivation for using tiktok is because I can observe the rapid shifts in the English language purely because so many different Englishes are being converged in a platform with such immense reach and rapid sharing. Perhaps even to the point that Internet English could be an emerging dialect.

I’m sure many Americans heard of the CVS pharmacist who died of a heart attack at work recently. My little sister works at Walgreens. She had a cardiac emergency at work yesterday. She’s 22. She’s 22 and they have to put a heart monitor on her bc Walgreens is so stressful.

Seeing people talk about the "DEI" orders but not much on the fact that they have added an A for "Accessibility" - ie, Disabled people. They are targeting disabled people too. And it looks like they are coming for the ADA.

Walking home in the atl snow just made me rage apply to truck driving jobs bc MY yee yee ass job doesn’t pay my ass enough for that.
