Rescuers worked for hours and into the night in steep, icy terrain to reach, treat, and safely evacuate him to a hospital. Thanks to all agencies involved for their teamwork.

Reserve Deputy Airey found Geo and gave him a lift to the Nederland Substation, where Deputy Niss connected him back with his people. Geo was a little shaken at first but quickly relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Such a good boy! Kudos to Reserve Deputy Airey and Deputy Niss for making sure he made it home safe and sound. Geo’s family said: Thanks for delivering our dog, Geo, to us safe and sound this past Saturday night! It was a huge relief.
