Consequently we then struggle with fast counters due to being sat so high up the pitch.

Inviting that much pressure on is always going to be risky against a side as deadly as Liverpool. We looked like the side with 10 men at the end and nullified that advantage with the deep block we set up. Agree may have been a different approach at the Cottage

Agree, I had written off the result. Thought as long as we put in a performance I would be happy.
But having such a great start and the carrot dangled like that had me greedy for more and I felt apart from about 10/15 minutes after the red card we never pressed them for the rest of the game
