Stunning last day in Spain yesterday, walking the coast path south from Llança. Beautiful, unspoilt beaches 😎🏖️🇪🇦

Super trip to the Castell de Sant Ferran in Figueres - biggest fort in Europe! We even got a boat tour through the underground cisterns which held drinking water for the troops and staff! 🏰

They really are an investment but then you'll find you can go miles once you have one. I got mine primarily to carry my son (he's too big now) but quickly realised it's amazing for hauling groceries etc. I also replaced a lot of bus journeys with my e bike. Oxford isn't even that hilly!

It's crazy how much simple string lights can improve the vibe of a block on a cold winter day. Wide sidewalks that allow for plenty of street trees are such a necessity in dense neighborhoods.

Second leg complete 🥳 great journey on the double decker TGV - we saw the new Paris cable car, vineyards, Mont Ventoux, flamingos, the Pyranees and much more 🚄 then had a lovely afternoon/evening exploring Figueres in the sunshine 😎

Anyone got any handy links to studies / examples regarding cities that show that cycle lanes shouldn’t be blamed for all the car congestion.

Encouraging more people to cycle for more of their everyday journeys isn't going to work when your cycling infra still places this kind of nonsense in the way.
