Is there anywhere on this app to follow or be aware of for freelance writing opportunities? I can write about travel, Pokémon, tarot and spirituality, astrology, the paranormal, books with a focus on fiction and romance books, and pets and pop culture, but happy to take on anything!

Love when you block someone online, and they go out of their way to find you and comment with their second accounts. Unhinged. Always interesting when they think you’ve blocked them because you’re the one who has done something wrong, when really you cba interacting with such weird people 😅😂

Querying a manuscript for an agent never gets any better. Rejection after rejection. Think I might give up on the agent search/murder mystery route for now!

Fed up of nothing happening. I want things to happen!

I did think the last two seasons wobbled a little bit, but I also accepted it because every storyline resolved quite conveniently at the last minute 😂 I wanted Edie to come back tho as a ghost!

Started watching it by chance and loved it! Lynette was my least fave 😂😅

Our shop is small so hear everything as people browse. Touch wood I’ve not heard bad - but it’s always weird when someone’s talking about it or picking it up and reading the blurb. I remember someone once saying something completely wrong like it was fact about me and I wanted to correct them 😂

The weird thing about working in a bookshop as an author is when a browsing customer picks up your book and remarks on it. This time, someone picked it up and their daughter walked over and said ‘oh, that’s the Jack Strange one’ - neither of them knew I was Jack Strange, but she knew my name 😭

I got Look Up, Handsome by @jackstrangeauthor.bsky.social last night at the bookstore. Out sightseeing today, so I had to also get the ebook so I can keep reading it while out today (no shame in my reading game). It’s the perfect Christmas rom-com! 10/10, no notes.
