Black plinth/base with the corner cut out and beige clay-like material filling it. Flat cork board visible on top, with raised areas made of the same clay-like material. That material is Apoxie Sculpt.

Black plinth/base with the corner cut out and filled with vegetation and pebbles with small rocks. There are two miniature logs visible. On top are five miniature boulders. The flat cork on top is now painted black.

Black plinth/base with the corner cut out and the vegetation is painted brown, and the pebbles, small rocks, and logs are now painted in a gradient of grey and white. On top, the miniature boulders are painted grey and white, and the open area is painted in light and darker blue. The brown is Kimera Kolors oxide brown light, the blue is Daler Rowney Inks Rowney Blue and Golden High Flow Acrylics indigo.

Cut up the plinth, used some Apoxie sculpt, primed it, and laid down some base colors. Still plenty of painting to do and then water effects.

Space Marine in Mk2 armour. Armour is yellow with black trim and metallics are steel, on a grey rocky lunar style base.

Painting of space marines in different legion colours will continue until morale improves, or I run out.

Imperial Fist in Mk2 Crusade armour.

Had issues at the shade stage, but decided to lean into it and go for a grimier look.
