Someone Iβve known since grade school is facing a tough cancer battle, and her family is carrying a heavy load. I taught her eldest daughter. Our community can make a real difference for them right now. If you are able to donate $5, or even just share, it would mean so much.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

Every single reputable medical group in the U.S. believes that children should have gender affirming care. Doctors know that gender affirming care for minors is lifesaving care. Social transition & puberty blockers are lifesaving. If you donβt think this is true youβve fallen for disinformation.

Supreme Court refuses to hear Little v. Llano County. Quote from ALA President Sam Helmick: "Millions of library users now face a diminished right to read and explore information free from government interference. The ruling threatens to transform government libraries into centers for indoctrination instead of protecting them as hubs of open inquiry.β American Library Association logo
ALA is disappointed and concerned with the U.S. Supreme Courtβs decision to allow a lower court ruling in Little v. Llano County stand. This decision will significantly restrict the freedom to read in public libraries across Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
