Also, are we going to get a warning that a nuclear ICBM is on the way and is the homeowner going to keep his family close to home so they can access the facility if that warning is given? I have more questions, but I’ll leave it there.

I really don’t know how Noem can survive these Congressional hearings. The ignorance, incompetence and lying that she displayed were breathtaking.

I was going to scroll right by this, but thought it to be so ridiculous that I had to share it. First, it is hard to believe that the person who owns that house and yard really has the money to build that facility. And, as Christopher points out, why would you want to survive the nuclear strike?

Good questions. Trump, do you. As soon as you weigh in on this, you will be helping Talarico by sowing discord in Repub ranks. We don’t believe that many of your folks will vote for Talarico, but suspect that many of them, disgusted, will stay home in November. Repubs can’t afford that.

Trump officials obviously have been told that to avoid perjuring yourself, you simply have to avoid answering questions. The best way to do that is to filibuster the member of Congress’ time with nonsensical non responsive statements with the Chair’s blessing. Dems soon will hold those gavels.

Imagine having a Chairman of this committee who orders the witness to answer the question that was posed to him/her. That day is coming…much sooner than these witnesses would like.

Trump’s endorsement of Cornyn and forcing Paxton to stand down likely will pave the way for a Talarico win. I hope that Paxton stands his ground and, after a scorched Earth campaign against Cornyn, prevails in his efforts to run against Talarico. Talarico stands a good chance of winning either way.

Rubio’s twisted logic:

We know that Israel is going to attack Iran. We know that Iran will attack us after that attack. We are attacking Iran to proactively degrade Iran’s ability to attack us after Israel’s attack on Iran. Soooo…our attack is defensive. You are not buying this logic? Good.

I am going to do more than hope. I am going to do everything that I can to get every person that I can to vote in November. Good things likely will result if we all commit to doing that.

Actually, these are the musings of folks who do not give a damn whether you are believing what they are saying. They act like — probably for good reason given what is actually happening — that they will not be held accountable for any of the bad things that they are doing.

The question is whether it is Repub logic, writ large, and lovers of democracy will make them pay a heavy price for embracing it. Americans have to prove that this is not who/what they want to be. Americans will be taking an existential test in November. They better pass it.
